Jerome Juuko won the Absa Bank Card Assist campaign in Uganda.
This was a campaign that was initiated by the bank having looked at the behavior of the customers concerning the usage of cards.

Absa Bank realized the usage of cards was going up daily and there was a need for customers to be safe.
Juuko had the highest card transactions throughout the campaign period.
The Card Assist Campaign was started in December 2021 which Absa Bank launched across the African Continent.
At the end of the campaign, the customer who had made the most transactions using their contactless card was to win a VIP Premier League experience to watch a football match and also get to interact with one of the African football Legends Jay-Jay Okocha (virtually).

He selected some of his good friends to tag along to watch one of the highly anticipated matches in the English Premier League (Manchester United Vs Arsenal).
Juuko together with his friends was treated to a VIP experience at the Kampala Sheraton Hotel.
At the end of the match, he was awarded a SONY TV and soundbar as well as another hamper for predicting the winner of the match.

Other invited guests also walked away with lots of other prizes.
This campaign was aimed at encouraging Absa customers to transact more using their contactless Absa cards to stand a chance to win a VIP Premier League experience.
This was aimed at encouraging the customers to make more transactions with their cards as well as keeping them safe from COVID-19 since the cards are contactless because they would not get in touch with anyone physically.
