Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has urged the general public to disregard the fly Uganda news reports that have been circulating on different social media platforms indicating that the Uganda government has procured an Aircraft.
When contacted on the matter, the CAA Public Relations Manager, Vianney Luggya, urged the public to disregard the images of the Fly Uganda Aircraft.
“We (CAA) aren’t aware of the Fly Uganda Aircraft and we appeal to the Public to disregard the images of the Aircraft that have been circulating on various social media platforms. The social media reports are not authentic”, Vianney Luggya stated.
It’s not yet clear who generated the Images of the “Fly Uganda” aircraft and what their motive is however it appears that unidentified person’s photo shopped the images using a Qantas Aircraft.
