Jinja based Uganda Premier League entity BUL Football Club officially completed the signing of Uganda U-20 (The Hippos) intelligent defender Kenneth Semakula.
Semakula crossed from BUL’s traditional arch-rivals, Busoga United on a free transfer.
Besides playing as a center back, Semakula can also be deployed as a holding midfielder.

He was part of the Uganda U-20 team that played at the 2019 and 2020 CECAFA U-20 tournaments hosted in Uganda and Tanzania respectively.
Other new signings:
BUL has also signed a couple of other players like Peter Onzima, Ibrahim Mugulusi, Aggrey Madoi, Davis Mutebi (goalkeeper), Ramadhan Dudu, Paul Mbaziira, Reagan Kalyowa, Douglas Bithum, Anwaru Mustafa Ntege, Simon Peter Oketch and Kenneth Kibbale.
In their first match of the season, BUL recovered from a goal down to draw with Sports Club Villa during a 2 all draw at the Kyabazinga Stadium, Bugembe – Jinja.
During the second game, BUL hammered rivals Busoga 3-1 at the FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru during the famous Jinja derby.
In the derby, Joseph Ssemujju netted a hat-trick as Jeromy Kirya found the consolation for Busoga United.
Semakula is expected to make his debut at BUL on Friday, 11th December 2020 against UPDF at the Bombo Military Stadium.
