Brussels Airlines has just announced two added Monday flights over the Festive Season 2015/16, both of them routing from Brussels via Kigali to Entebbe and then returning nonstop to Brussels. These two services are over and above the twice-a-week nonstop Brussels – Kigali and thrice a week nonstop Brussels – Entebbe flights.
The added dates are as of December 21 until January 4, 2016 and will operate under flight numbers SN 1465 to cater for the extra demand for seats at the end of the year. Sebastiaan Spijkers, the airline’s Country Manager Uganda, confirmed that the added capacity was already being taken up both from and to the two Eastern African destinations.
The airline also confirmed that effective September 14 the German city of Bremen will be added to the network with five flights a week, excluding Saturday and Sunday. This will be the third Northern German city Brussels Airlines will serve after Hamburg and Hannover. Berlin, Germany’s capital, is connected to Brussels, the European capital, five times a day while flights to Frankfurt, Munich and Stuttgart are available on codeshare arrangements with Lufthansa and Germanwings respectively.
