    Struggling Entebbe based Nkumba Select managed to overcome their poor form to beat Dalumba Richmond 3-2 in the Pepsi Beach Soccer League. Allan Zirimenya’s brace and Muwawu Faizal’s lone goal inspired Nkumba Select to their second win in round two of the Pepsi Beach Soccer league held at Lido Beach Entebbe on Sunday. The two Goals for Dalumba came from Muzafalu Senyonjo and Nkumba Select’s Muganga Douglas who scored an own goal.

    “I am happy that we have beaten Dalumba. The match was really tight; we remained focused and learned from our past mistakes that cost us the previous matches against St. Lawrence and Kayunga Town Council” Nkumba Select Football club Manager Isa Asiimwe told entebbenews.

    Isa also sounded a tough warning to ill mannered players in the team adding that he was ready to crack the whip. “I’ll not allow any ill mannered player in the team” Isa warned. Isa suspended Goal Keeper Kassim Ssenteza who was sent off during the match against Kayunga Town council for his unsporting behavior.

    Elsewhere in the Hurriken Group; Kampala International University (KIU) thumped Mutesa I Royal University with a 5-4 win. Kagingo Ismail and Ishoke Isaac netted braces while Kyobe Ssenga scored one goal. Goals for Mutesa I Royal University came from Luboyera Hassan (2), Ssegendo Deo (1), Kimera Primo (1).

    St. Lawrence University eased passed Braza Braza with a 7-2 win. Goals for St. Lawrence came from Kalyowa Emma (2), Kiggundu Swallah (3), Lwezawula Phillip (1) and Awori David (1). Munoga Henry and Ssekito Ivan each scored a goal apiece for Braza Braza.

    MUBS beat Talented FC 7-4 and remain unbeaten in the second round of the Pepsi Beach Soccer League. Lukooya Baker’s two hat tricks and Okello Maxwell’s lone goal continued their winning streak. Real Galacticos came from behind to beat YMCA 3-2. Sselukwaya Dennis (1), John Revita (1), Said Latif (1) were the goal scorers for Real Galacticos while Bukedeko Ali scored a brace for YMCA.

    Elsewhere Stormers beat Buwanika Bulls 3-1 while Zaba Super market where 3-2 winners over sand pirates.
