Renowned Ugandan socialite Bad Black, whose real name is Shanita Namuyimbwa, has revealed her birthday wishlist ahead of her thirty-sixth birthday next week.
Bad Black made her intentions known via Snapchat, sharing a detailed list of dos and don’ts for her upcoming celebration. In her post, the socialite emphasized that close friends should publicly celebrate her, not just send private birthday wishes through direct messages.
Post me on your wall,” she insisted, adding that she’ll unfollow friends who ignore her birthday notifications from Snapchat. She further explained that edible gifts, such as cakes and chocolates, are only acceptable if sealed, with no dinner dates allowed.
The socialite cited postpartum recovery after giving birth to baby Jaasiel as her reason for avoiding clubs and dinner outings. Bad Black warned against making empty promises, saying she prefers honesty over disappointments from unfulfilled commitments, and gifts are not compulsory.
For those sending flowers, she stressed they shouldn’t come empty; adding money or sweets is mandatory, especially in red colors. Her preferred birthday gifts include perfumes, sneakers (size 37), clothes (size 38), body mists, skincare products, and fashionable bags – not bras or knickers.
Trips or hotel stays were rejected outright, as she would arrange personal travel after Jaasiel turns two months, avoiding unreliable promises. She also reminded friends to reciprocate energy, asking them to celebrate her like she celebrates theirs, or ignore her afterwards.
Bad Black specifically welcomed gifts from fellow July-born people, noting such presents must include the Cancer zodiac symbol for solidarity. Business owners were encouraged to send gifts with clear intentions for advertisement, promising to tag them in their appreciation posts.
