Last week on Martyrs Day Nkumba University School of Industrial Art and Design (SCIAD) treated it’s fellow university students and several other guests to the 6th Fashion show that was organized at the University Volley Ball Grounds. The colorful event brought together a host of different babes who showcased their outfits and paraded their different types of legs ranging from toothpick or straw like legs to elephant like legs. The event was attended by Nkumba University Dean of Students Chris Kasasa, Associate Dean School of commercial Industrial Art and Design Professor Andrew Yiga. The chief Guest of the day was senior Inspector of Local Governments Andrew Gabula Nadiope who hailed Nkumba University for producing graduates who can employ themselves through designing their own clothes. Elizabeth Alitubeera a catholic nun was voted the best designer of the day. She walked away smiling after Andrew Gabula Nadiope awarded her with a certificate of Excellence. Former 2014/15 Miss Nkumba Carol Wanyana and Diana Muhumuza were among the top designers who featured. Flamboyant dude and Nkumba University (SCIAD) lecturer Aaron Bwayo and self styled sex counselor and ‘Senga’ Nalwonga Susan aka ‘Auntie Sue’ who were in charge of making noise on the microphones plus inviting the participants.
