Musician Alien Skin has dismissed reports that he took a break from music, saying it was the fans who stopped paying attention to him.
During a TV interview, Alien Skin was asked to share his view on claims that he was a faded artist and no longer topping charts.
In his defence, he revealed that just because people were no longer giving his music time didn’t mean he was no longer releasing music.
He noted that he did his best to give his fans and all music lovers the best of himself and his music, and it was their decision to take a break from him when they needed to.
“To the presenter, fan, or deejay, out there, I will give you my music back-to-back, and when you give me a break out of your own goodwill, the first thing that will come to your mind is thinking that I’m no longer as powerful as I used to be. It is you to give me a break, but I will still be releasing music, but it doesn’t change me,” he said.

Alien Skin emphasized that as long as his music was still playing anywhere, he was still relevant, even if he wasn’t releasing music back-to-back like he used to.
