

Airserv International has officially launched a new modern air craft service maintenance center and hanger at Entebbe old international airport. The aircrafts maintenance facility worth $1m
was launched on Friday by the Entebbe Mayor Vicent Kayanja Depaul With Both the Airserv board chairman Mark J.Abbot And Capt Jack Canaan .The ultra modern facility with six offices, conference room, three stores and two workshops was launched at a colorful ceremony organized at the Airserv head offices. The ceremony was attended by several aviation authorities and airline companies managers including the Kampala Executive Aviation.

The 2000sqm aircrafts facility and garage was constructed by a Ugandan based company, Marez construction. Airserv board chairman, Mark Abbot thanked the
aviation authorities for providing them enough space to construct a sizeable air crafts hanger to ease the air crafts routine maintenance and servicing across the East and Central African region including
Southern Sudan and DRC. Mayor Vincent Kayanja DePaul credited the American based humanitarian aviation organization for taking up the innovation to enhance development at a critical time when the airport is under expansion. The Civil Aviation Authority Director Rama Makuza was represented by Eng John Kagoro who commended the good working relationship that comply with international aviation standards including chartering aircrafts to East Africa’s remote regions including Rwanda and Burundi.
