A senior police officer attached to Airport aviation police is cursing like hell after drinking off his head and knocking a passenger service van along Entebbe road.
The rowdy police officer identified as Besigye was on Sunday evening arrested and put behind bars at Entebbe police station after guzzling heavily and knocking a matatu no. UBA 911H with his police double cabin pick up no UP. 2395.
The unruly government officer caused the accident while driving a police blue colored pick up after at Abaita Ababiri and sped off.
He was intercepted by rowdy tax drivers around the Queens road before the Flight Motel with an identified woman inside the police car.
The drunken police officer was pulled-out of his government owned car with enough liquor on his head before he was rushed to Entebbe police station where he spent a night.
The boozified officer was driven behind his police car to the main police station after rowdy taxi drivers blocking the main road and threatening to burn down the police government car.
The taxi driver identified as Kimuli Fred revealed that the police officer was trying to over take him around Kasenyi stage and knocked his car. He didn’t stop and sped off till he was intercepted before the Flight Motel.
“He arrogantly exchanged with the taxi driver and refused to pay for his damages nor repair the car dents while sparked an ugly scene along the high way”, said eye witnesses.
