Two taxi drivers are cursing like hell after they were assaulted and injured in a heated battle over fees on Wednesday in Entebbe. Kayima Ali and Richard Semujju Tesko both residents of Kitoro Central Zone were assaulted and left bleeding after fighting their Bosses under the Entebbe Stages Conductors And Drivers Association over incompetence and corruption. The duo organized a heated meeting over their association bosses after they failed to give accountability for the last three years they have been occupying offices including the association Chairman Steven Kidde and treasurer Abiola Wood.

The fracas was for over three hours in the Taxi Park after the angry taxi drivers demanded for accountability of over fifty million shillings collected monthly. The municipal council receives twenty five million shillings monthly from the tender and the balance has no accountability. And to make matters worse another nine million shillings collected from the three association vans have no accountability. The matter was reported to the town clerk Richard Mande who grilled the ESCADA Bosses and also suspended all the fees collecting activities for the next two months.
