Entebbe Handling Services Limited (ENHAS) came from a goal down to beat Uganda Clearing Industry and forwarding Association (UCIFA) 3-1 on Tuesday in the Entebbe Airport Stakeholders football league. Brian Kawonyera opened the score sheet for UCIFA in the 30th minute with a well taken shot. However Enhas bounced back in the second half with Francis Ssemambo grabbing an equalizer in the 50th minute to go level with the clearing agents. UCIFA goalie Peter Galiwango’s poor goal keeping skills cost his side after Mashahaliya and Joseph Luyonga added the second and third goal in the 58th and 70th minute for Enhas.
League patron and head organizing committee Edward Mugyenyi faulted Enhas for their lack of seriousness to participate in the league as the team lacked jerseys and only improvised for the UCIFA Match.
“Enhas team played bare-chested because they lacked jerseys and they could only improvise for the UCIFA Match. I had a discussion with Fredrick Nyombi the finance Boss and George Otika the sports coordinator about the issue and they promised to begin sponsoring the team in the upcoming matches” Mugyenyi told entebbenews.
League continues today Wednesday May 27 with Lake Victoria Hotel taking on Protea Hotel in a mouth watering derby at the Airport football Grounds at 5pm.
