Singer Eddy Kenzo has weighed in on the ongoing rift between Bebe Cool and the creatives who worked under him over non-payment.
For several days now, a number of creatives, including artists and bloggers, have come out accusing Bebe Cool of not paying them for the work done during the concluded presidential campaigns.
Eddy Kenzo, who was leading the other team of creatives, spoke and sympathised with them, hailing them for the good job well done for the president during the campaigning season, asserting that they deserved to be paid.
“We worked with those children and moved with them across the entire country. Personally, it hurts me to see them complaining because they worked for our president and did a good job,” he said.
Kenzo, however, declined to intervene in their matters since this was the genesis of his fallout with Bebe Cool. He revealed that the only way he would get involved was if they logged an official complaint in his office as a presidential advisor on creatives.

“The fact that I was not in that camp means I cannot intervene. Unless they come and report to me officially in my office as a senior presidential advisor. Maybe then I can advise them but I haven’t received any official complaint. Whatever it is, we shall see how it ends because we are here,” he said.
