Gospel artist and pastor Joseph Ngooma has addressed the criticism from netizens after he was seen receiving money from renowned herbalist and traditionalist Maama Fiina.
Joseph Ngooma was performing at a show recently, and among the people who came up to appreciate his talent was Maama Fiina, who gave him notes of money, and he gladly it.
The video went viral and sparked criticism on social media, with users criticizing him for receiving money from someone who practices witchcraft.
Pr. Ngooma, while speaking in a TV interview, responded to the backlash, noting that he didn’t see it as a big deal, appreciating Maama Fiina for showing him support.

“We have not officially met with that lady and I do not know I forgot that but I want her to come and support me. What happened that day was something very minor and small to me. Maama Fiina is a human just like anyone else. She gave me money in one concert, this is like someone coming to my shop to support me. When people come to support you, you never know where they are coming from, where they got the money from. I do not see any problem with her giving me money. This happens at every concert and I believe everyone is welcome. I didn’t give that time,” he said.
