Media personality and events MC, Esco Star, has opened up about his past relationship with his ex-girlfriend and baby mama, Haffy Powers.
Haffy Powers, during one of her interviews, revealed that one of the men she had dated had laid a bet on her with his friends on whether they could win her over. Esco Star, however, denied the allegations, saying that their relationship was never a result of any bet.
He confessed that there was pressure from the media, considering the fact that they were a public couple, and that might have been one of the reasons they ended their relationship.
“There was no bet on my side, it was natural and everything went on well. There was pressure of being together and what people saw is not what may have been painted at home. I won’t say she had a bad character but there were lots of challenges in between that a young person is not ready for,” he said.
Esco Star further denied cheating on Haffy as rumors suggested that he had messed around with socialite King Deyonce at the UNAA convention in the USA. He revealed that he got to know her through a close acquaintance, and the media and blogs blew everything out of proportion.
He opened up about how deeply he regretted putting his relationship out in the media, and speaking from experience, he urged public figures not to rush into getting married at a young age.

“According to experience and what I have seen I’m saying this, marriage is not for the young people and not for everyone especially us who are in the entertainment industry. Courtship is okay at a certain level because we break up easily over petty factors,” he said.
