The Uganda music industry mourns the untimely passing of renowned Ugandan singer Aziz Magically, real name Aziz Mawanda.
According to reports, at the time of his death, Aziz Magically was staying in Kyengera, where he had been for the past close to two months after he left Mengo.
One of the neighbors who spoke to social media blogger Matt Tee, Aziz entered his rental unit at around 10 AM, alive and well. At 4 PM, however, a relative he was staying with came back to the house only to find his body lying lifeless.
When the rest of the family got the news about Aziz’s death, his father ordered his immediate burial, and to the shock of many, he was laid to rest at 8 PM that very day.
It is unclear what caused Aziz’s death, but neighbors claimed that he had swollen feet and lips.

Aziz rose to fame on social media in 2018, not for his music but after getting engaged to Swedish 70-year-old national, Monalisa Larson, when he was only 19.
