Singer Dax Vibez, Mikie Wine, Lil Pazo, and Jeff Kiwa, among others, have rallied behind musician Witty Witty after he resurfaced on social media, living a miserable life.
Witty was among the most talented artists with hit songs like ‘Ba Mugumu‘ to his name. However, based on a video that made rounds on social media a few days back, showed the once talented star in a very sorry state.
Netizens concluded that he was using drugs and alcohol, which they believed would have driven him to the state he was in.
Fellow artists like Bruno K, Lil Pazo, and Dax Vibez hosted Witty Witty on their live to have the masses help him get back on his feet, and it is here that he confessed that he was battling depression caused by people not appreciating his art.
Witty Witty used to do graphic design for some top artists in the industry years back, but revealed that some of them ended up exploiting him.
“When I was starting out in art, production and graphic designing, I thought I was working in unison with these people on the same journey. I thought we would make it out together and help each other. But they were exploiting me instead. I put in my time to do their art for them but they never remembered what I did for them.
This pushed him into depression, and he ended up isolating himself. He left the city and settled back in Masaka, even there, he was homeless and had no phone on him to keep up.

“When you start music and get a hit at a young age, you do not have anyone to show you direction. You end up not earning from your songs. People will think that you are rich yet you have no money. You start hiding away from your friends because you feel you do not fit in there,” he said.
Jeff Kiwa and Daxx Vibes bought Witty Witty a new phone, and Mikie Wine advised him to leave Masaka and come back to Kampala with a promise that he would give him a free house to stay in for a year until he gets back on his feet.
