Ugandan rapper Fik Fameica has bragged about being the best Ugandan artist, a trend setter, and an international icon.
Addressing the media, Fik Fameica described himself as one of the best, if not the best, artists in Uganda, citing the hit songs under his belt.
The singer bragged about having made it internationally across East Africa with his music crossing borders to Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, among other places in the region. With this, Fik Fameica says he has made musician friends in these areas, an achievement that is rare amongst artists.
“I’m one of the best artists in Uganda; if not, the best. I have more than one song trending at the same time. I have Champion Girl, the most trending song in the city. I’m an icon; I have worked for ten years, and I feel like I’m an inspiration to many. I’m a trendsetter,” Fik Femeica noted.

To cement his position outside the local industry, Fik Fameica has worked with international stars like Patoranking, Rayvanny, Rosa Ree, Joe Boy, Nyashinski, among others. In his most recent project, he teamed up with Mejja, whom he described as one of the biggest artists in Kenya.

Reflecting on how his collaboration with Kenyan singer Mejja Genge came about, he revealed that after the singer noticed Fik Fameica’s Uganda influence, he reportedly reached out to him, asking him to jump on the ‘Siaka’ song remix, a project that continues to do significantly well across different music streaming platforms.
“Kenya and Uganda, we are like brothers and sisters. Their music goes viral in Uganda, and the same goes for ours in their country. We do the same genre of music. Me and I will possibly work on many other songs because the vibe matches,” Fik said.
