Singer Green Daddy has revealed that his former music partner, Opa Fambo, continues to hide away from following after years of parting ways.
Green Daddy, real name Vincent Kikabi, during a TV interview, revealed that he had searched for his former singing partner two to three years ago, but every time they would get close to meeting, Opa Fambo would run away out of fear of facing him.
“I used to look for him two to three years ago, but he started hiding away from me. Even when he was at the studio, and someone mentioned that I would be passing by, he would hide. I do not know why it was like this; maybe he had his own issues as a person to do that, but I had no idea why,” Green Daddy said.
Green Daddy, formerly known as Mosh Mavako and Opa Fambo, was one of the hottest music duos by the time they broke up. Green Daddy, in one of the interviews, acknowledged that he slid into depression for over two years following their split, citing the strong bond they had and the success they had achieved.
He revealed that every song Opa Fambo released after their split had originally been recorded by both of them. However, following their separation, Opa Fambo allegedly removed his vocals and turned them into solo projects. He described this move as a distraction intended to destabilize him and derail his focus from achieving his goals.

“Every time you believe in yourself, you start experiencing the world more simply because only you know where you are coming from and where you are going. He did all that, but sometimes they are just distractions to confuse you from the direction you want to take. People like me choose to stay focused,” Green Daddy said.
