    Group E:
    Ghana 1 – 1 Uganda

    Uganda Cranes has held Ghana to a one all draw at the Baba Yara Stadium during the group E AFCON nations cup qualifier played on Saturday.
    Tonny Mawejje’s opener at the death of the first half was cancelled by a seemingly controversial goal coming off a well taken penalty by Andre Ayew in the 50th minute.
    Defender Denis Iguma was judged to have fouled Ghanaian forward Majeed Waris in the forbidden area.
    This is the third drawn match between Ghana and Uganda from the 11 games played.
    Uganda plays Guinea on Wednesday at Namboole Stadium in the second game

    Fatau Dauda, Daniel Opare, Harrison Afful, John Boye, Jonathan Mensah, Agyemang Badu, Rabiu Mohammed, Kwadwo Asamoah, Atsu Christian, Assmoah Gyan (Captain) and Andre Ayew
    Uganda:
    Dennis Onyango (G.K), Denis Iguma, Godfrey Walusimbi, Savio Kabugo, Andy Mwesigwa (Captain), Geoffrey ‘Baba’ Kizito, Khalid Aucho, Tony Mawejje, Moses Oloya, Luwagga Kizito (94’ Luwagga Kizito) and Brian Umony (66’ Kizza Hamis).
    Subs Not Used:
    Robert Odongkara , Isaac Isinde, Richard Kasaga, Robert Sentongo , Yunus Sentamu.
