Two government fellas are on the spot after pocketing over one million shillings in a fishy deal to hire out the municipal grader to a city client identified as Ben Byarabaha working for construction firm.
The duo working with the engineering department at Entebbe municipal council have turned a ‘shame’ for the year 2021 after pocketing dime from a city client for the heavy truck as agreed.
Engineer Apollo Mayito and his associate identified Ashubwe Benjamin popularly known as Kabaya received one million four hundred thousand shillings (shs1.4M) to provide service for a ‘heavy grader’ to be used at a government facility over looking Entebbe airport and they down paid the deal after the municipal getting faulty now parked in the municipal council yard.
These foxy fellas were given the dime a couple of months ago to provide the heavy truck and they pocketed the dime before acting funny.
And since then, they have gone missing after chewing the dime and acting like crooks.
The matter is yet to be forwarded to higher authorities after arrogantly refusing to refund the dime they picked from the client .
We have highly established that several attempts have been made for these fellas to refund the dime and they have refused to cough the dime.
