President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuhaburwa has warned market authourities and traders not to miss use the new multi billion shillings market in Entebbe.
The president made the alarm at the official opening of the new giant storied market located in the Kitooro trading centre on Tuesday,5th Jan 2021.
“The market has been constructed for a common good and on world standard as highlighted in the NRM manifesto”,in his report.
The president arrived at the official market opening shortly after 1pm amidst tight security with plain clothed security agents around him and cruising inside his sleeky balck monster machine with two flags.
Museveni drove in waving to NRM party supporters clogged around the roadsides to the new ‘taxi park’ where the president addressed party supporters.
The ‘old man with the hat’ drove in dressed in a yellow long sleeved shirt and this color has become part of his daily menu.
This was a day to bless for NRM party supporters for the historical landmark pledged over the years (10years down the road).
In the previous elections president Museveni addressed a big gathering at the Entebbe comprehensive secondary school and this was the last time to break shoulders with party supporters.
We have established that the head of state last paid a visit to Hon Rosemary Tumusiime Bikaako and Pastor Aaron Mutebi of the Entebbe based Miracle center church.
Mayor Vincent Kayanja of the Democratic Party has the scores during his time of office that government has invested in several multi billion projects including the over shsbn19bn taxi park, street lights and roads.
“Kayanja’s walk to office hasn’t been a smooth road and easy walk like eating matooke but he has walked the talk”, reports indicate.

The new market will be open to public after three months from the presidential commissioning, said market chairman Isabirye Marijan black.
