Mean while Douglas Mayanja aka Weasel is struggling to push on tooth and nail following the parting of musical partner Moses Ssekibogo alias Mowzey Radio(RIP).
It’s alleged that on the 22rd/Jan/2018, Radio had a bar scuffle with one Wamala Godfrey Troy at De’ bar in Entebbe.
He was rushed to different medical facilities including the Case Medical centre where he spent a week under intensive care before his passing on.
Several individuals were arrested including the bar proprietor George Egesa, murder suspect Godfrey Wamala Troy,Hassan Muwonge,Xavier Rukere and others.
Wamala Godfrey Troy was remanded to Kigo prison over attempted murder for one year before hearing his case.
High court judge Jane Francis Abodo started hearing the case on September 5th 2019 with eight witnesses including Producer Washington Ebangit, Pamela Musiimire, Hassan Muwonge and two police officers.
High court pinned killer suspect Wamala Troy of being guilty of killing Moses Sekibogo aka Mowzey Radio and convicted him of manslaughter as evidenced by the post-mortem report from Dr. Samuel Karungi and Dr. Moses Byaruhanga.
Prosecution led by Joseph Kyomuhendo and Joan Keko however failed to prove malice aforethought as an ingredient in the murder before sentencing the killer suspects to 12years, 3months and 4days in jail on the 31st October 2019.
It’s now 3years since the passing of Uganda’s musical icon Moses Ssekibogo that was laid to rest his ancestral burial grounds off Entebbe road at Kagga Nakawuka(RIP).
