Former Wakiso Resident District Commissioner Ian Kyeyune is back into the spot light after burning on katebe since the presidential knifing.
The former government officer and presidential ‘eye’ is warming up for district seat currently occupied by Matia Lwanga Bwanika of the Democratic Party.
Kyeyune will be contesting for the top district job against his rival one Mayanja Moses from the same party (NRM) this friday during the party primaries.
Kyeyune has been missing in action like former Ugandan vice Gilbert Balibaseka Bukenya a.k.a Mahogany also back in the political spot light.
“He’s come back is effectively represent the district and push on with what wasn’t accomplished during his term in office”, said Kyeyune.
He pointed fingers at the incumbent from the opposition party for failing to work with government over irreconcilable differences.
A leaders is voted to serve all different political ideologies and not a single party like many opposition leaders think. And a leader who thinks like that is as a good a useless and failing government and projects.
In 2003, Wakiso district woman member of parliament Rosemary Seninde bashed political leaders over hampering development and political hatred.
Sseninde was speaking at the 24 small businesses exhibition organized by Kasanje Small Business Network Company (KSBNC) at Kasanje sub-county headquarters.
