Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Management and staff were privileged to host the Archbishop of the Church of Uganda His Grace, the Most Rev. Archbishop Stanley Ntagali who will sign out (retire) next year in march from his official clergy work after 44 years of dedicated service to serving the lord. Archbishop Ntagali who took over from Archbishop emeritus Henry Luke Orombi in 2012 revealed that he was making his maiden familiarization tour of Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and Entebbe International Airport at the end of his tenure.
I always travel to different parts of the world via Entebbe International Airport but this is first time to have a familiarization tour of the Airport and Civil Aviation Authority and I’m particularly impressed with the Fire and Rescue services department headed by Rev. Samuel Atabua. God’s time is the best time, remarked Archbishop Ntagali.
In his sermon, Archbishop Stanley Ntagali commended Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) for the ongoing expansion works of Entebbe Airport and added that all staff at Civil Aviation Authority in their different capacities are serving the lord when they diligently execute their tasks and responsibilities.
When you remain connected with God you become better workers because you cherish the values of integrity, trustworthiness and faithfulness and as a result, you earn promotions at the work place. We have Christians who are Christians just by name, when they leave Church, they do different things. Some Christians go to witch doctors, some are agents of conflict and also involve themselves in corruption because of greed and self-centeredness. There are some Christians at the work place who engage in rumormongering, are rebellious and despise their colleagues but I would like to tell all of you that we have our Inspector General Of Heaven (God) who sees everything we do and we will be accountable before him”, Archbishop Ntagali told the congregants that converged at the CAA Head Office for a prayer service.

The Entebbe International Airport Anglican Community head, Tom David Wasswa who also doubles as CAA Head of Commercial and Marketing commended Archbishop Stanley Ntagali for the job well done in completing the signature project the Church House and for also steering the province of Uganda. Tom Davis Wasswa also commended Archbishop Stanley Ntagali for the work on All Saints Church and Namugongo Anglican shrine. He also commended Archbishop Stanley Ntagali for fighting immoral values and also advocating for the rights of children and also calling for unity among families. Tom Davis Wasswa thanked CAA Management for being free with religious beliefs.
Meanwhile, on his part, Mr. Fred Bamwesigye, the CAA Deputy Director General had this to say about the Archbishop’s Visit.
We thank you for honoring our invitation and formally joining the Entebbe Airport community in prayer. This is indeed a land mark occasion as it is the first time that this is happening. I believe it marks the beginning of many more such future interactions and a blessing to the work we do in serving the users of Airport facilities. The timing of the visit is wonderful in light of the many on-going developments at the Airport including the upgrade and expansion of Entebbe International Airport. Your blessing of the on-going works has been much appreciated and as Civil Aviation Authority, we shall contribute significantly to St. Johns Church because of the relationship we have cemented.
