Despite their hard work and commitment to progress to the finals of the 2019 Singleton Edition, Lady Golfers failed to overcome their male counterparts to advance to the semifinal round and all bowed out of the highly competitive match play tournament with Babirye Martha and Moureen Okura being the last female pair to drop out of the tournament after they lost to Odere Charles and Kato Samuel on the 1st play-off on Wednesday after they couldn’t proceed on Saturday due to failing light.

Doreen Mwesigye who singlehandedly played Tim Mwanda and Ssubi Kiwanuka lost 2&1 after her counterpart Wendy Angudeyo dropped out on the last minute on Saturday due to other engagements. Atuhairwe Andrew and Geoffrey Orach knocked out hard fighting Ibra Bagalana and Raymond Mwesigye 3&2. The remaining unfinished match comprising of Rugambwa Silver and Bagalana Ashraf Versus Robert Busingye and Lutwama Richard didn’t end on Saturday due to failing light.
