![]() The Entebbe Rotary fraternity yet again held their noble fundraising Golf Tournament at Entebbe Golf Club on Saturday with a sole aim of raising funds that will be channeled towards helping kids with heart complications get the much needed heart surgery. A total of 105 players took part in the stable ford format tournament and team Lets Go Travel were crowned champions after they returned a total of 113 points. Team Lets Go Travel comprised of Orach Geoffrey and Moko Emma who returned an identical 38 points each while Niwamanya Johnson and Basiima Bridget returned 37 and 34 stable ford points respectively. Both Orach Geoffrey and Moko Emma each earned an air ticket to Dubai courtesy of Emirates. Kampala Casino 1 that comprised of Paul Rukundo (37 points), Ssubi Kiwanuka (35 points), Muhammad Jezan (26 points), Mpiima Hannington (26 points) finished as runners up with a total of 98 stable ford points. Both Paul Rukundo and Ssubi Kiwanuka each earned an air ticket to Dubai courtesy of Fly Dubai. Morris Ongwech and Tugume Jovia emerged as individual overall winners both in the Men’s and Ladies category with 38 points and 36 points respectively. Morris Ongwech earned himself an air ticket to any destination in Europe courtesy of Brussels Airlines while Jovia Tugume earned herself a flight aboard Aerolink to Bwindi National Park. Njeri Grace and Paul Kasozi emerged as the overall Rotarian winner and seniors winner (55 years and above) with 35 points and 32 points respectively. Other Winners: Acaye Conrad, Bulafu Collins and Byamukama Jacob topped Groups A, B and C with 36 points, 37 points and 37 points respectively. According to the Entebbe Rotary Club President George Bush, all the proceeds from the golf tournament will be channeled towards helping kids with heart complications get the much needed heart surgery. Bush revealed that Rotary International will top up on their proceeds stressing that with their good partnership with the Uganda Heart Institute, the target is to operate on 10 kids with heart related complications.
