
On Saturday, Bugonga Catholic Parish Church was packed to the brim with a congregation of mourners who turned up to bid fare well and celebrate the life of Alex Munuubi Rutimbirayo, the General Machinery (Victoria Motors) Cargo clearing firm Boss who suddenly succumbed to liver failure aged 63 years on Friday at Nsambya Hospital where he had been hospitalized.
The late Alex Rutimbirayo was first admitted to Rubaga Hospital on July 1 when he fell sick and was transferred to Nsambya Hospital after his condition worsened.
George Birimbasa and Cuthbert Muhanguzi who spoke on behalf of the Entebbe Airport Cargo Clearing fraternity, described the Late Alex Rutimbirayo as a very friendly man who had a golden heart and loved giving a helping hand. Other mourners described the late Rutimbirayo as a very helpful and generous man who was full of smiles.
Jancitha Rutimbirayo, the deceased’s widow described her departed husband as a loving man and a caring father.

Ben Mugasha, the Bemuga Forwarders Boss called on the Children and specifically Alex Jr. to carry on with their late Father’s legacy.
St. Jude Sub-Parish Church in Abaita Ababiiri also hailed the Late Rutimbirayo as a God fearing man who was instrumental in the establishment of the church.
The Late Alex Rutimbirayo was among the senior cargo clearing agents at Entebbe International Airport where he worked from the mid 1980s until his demise. The Late Alex Rutimbirayo is survived by a widow Jancitha Rutimbirayo and five children (two boys and three girls).
The Late Alex Rutimbirayo will be laid to rest in Ijumo Village, Mitooma District.
