    The Entebbe Municipality Member of Parliament Hon. Rose Tumusiime has urged the Muslim fraternity in Entebbe to remain united and focused so as to receive God (Allah) blessings. MP Tumusiime who made the rallying call during the Eid Adhua animal slaughtering religious festival on Saturday at the Muslim Grounds in Entebbe Town applauded the Muslim fraternity for remaining peaceful and urged them to be patient and God fearing like Abraham who obeyed God’s commandment to sacrifice his only son.

    She appealed to the Muslims to be honest and trustworthy and always participate actively in the developmental issues in the Municipality. A total of 24 cows and four sheep that were donated by different organizations including Special Forces Command (SFC), PRECIOUS and HEAR UGANDA were slaughtered at the Muslims Grounds in Entebbe Town and the meat distributed to all 28 mosques in Entebbe up to Namulanda along Entebbe Road.

    Meanwhile the Entebbe Muslim County (Twale) Chairman Matovu Figo also commended the Muslims for their unity and urged them not to be intimidated by some unscrupulous Muslims who are intent on sowing hatred and divisions among them.
