
Friends, Entebbe community, St. John’s Church, Rotary and Entebbe Airport fraternity on Monday converged in St. John’s Church to bid farewell to CAA Aviation Security officer Jackie Yariwo Ochieng who succumbed to multiple organ failure on Sunday at the Kampala Medical Chambers. For the last couple of months, the Late Jackie Ochieng had been bedridden after her liver developed complications.
The late Jackie Ochieng was described as a friendly, warm and generous person who loved her job and serving Christ. The Late Jackie Ochieng died aged 47 years and is survived by a widower George Bush Ochieng, a UN Entebbe base staff and a known Entebbe Rotarian. She is also survived by four children (three boys and one girl).
The late Jackie Ochieng will be laid to rest today in Kamuli District.
The Late Jackie Ochieng was born 1970 and attended Siipi Primary School for her primary Education, for ‘O’ and ‘A’ Level Education. In 1990, she joined the Military and in 1991 she was posted to Entebbe International Airport where she served in the security department until her demise.
