In a bid to promote computer literacy skills at the Entebbe Calvary Christian School, the Entebbe Municipality Member of Parliament Hon. Rose Tumusiime fulfilled her pledge and delivered a set of computers to enable the school pupils and teachers acquire skills in information communication Technology (ICT). Hon. Tumusiime handed over the computers during the launch and dedication of a two-storied class room block at the Calvary Chapel Christian School on Thursday.

In her address, Hon. Tumusiime congratulated the Calvary outreach ministries for completing the building and hailed Pastor Craig Linquist (the founder of the Ministry) for his vision and initiative to support the needy children in Entebbe and complementing Government on the Universal Primary Education (UPE) Program including offering free lunch to the pupils.

“Completion of the building is a testimony that we serve a rich God. I would like to thank Pastor Craig Linquist who went beyond the church ministry and founded a school that is addressing the Educational and health challenges in Lugonjo-Nakiwogo. Allow me once again thank the Calvary Outreach ministries and their donors for transforming this area and adding value to the Municipality. Today information communication Technology (ICT) is no longer a luxury but a must and kids must be equipped with computer skills to enable them catch up with the fast moving competitive world”, Hon. Tumusiime stated.
