Entebbe Senior Secondary School old students (old boys and girls) have finally remembered their former school and have rolled out different initiatives to save their school from going to the dogs. The old students who are being spearheaded by none other than Jeff David Kayongo have organized a fundraising dinner to save the School Laboratory from falling apart. The fundraising dinner is scheduled to take place this Sunday at Entebbe Flight Motel and all those willing to attend will have to pay Forty Thousand (Shs40,000) and Shs 75,000 towards the initiative.

Over Twenty two million Shillings (Shs22m) is needed to erect a modern laboratory building which will house the science and computer Laboratory respectively. Our scouts toured the current school Lab and discovered that it’s in a very sorry state with no equipments or apparatuses to carry out biology, chemistry and physics practical lessons. Different activities including a marathon are being organized as the school is looking forward to celebrating it’s 50 years of existence (Silver Jubilee) in July.
