Seasoned Golfer Alan Muhereza emerged overall winner at the Inaugural Uganda Breweries (UBL) sponsored Singleton Golf Challenge that was held on Saturday at the Par 71 Entebbe Golf Course. Playing Golf Handicap 06 Muhereza carded 69 Nett to finish overall winner of the tournament that attracted a total of 150 players. Alan Muhereza walked away with a glittering trophy and also earned himself a trip to either Bwindi National Park or Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Greg Patterson topped Group B (H/C 10-18) with 65 Nett. His success earned a three months alarm response at his residence courtesy of Pinnacle Security. Winston Agaba topped Group C (H/C 19-28) with 66 Nett. He walked away with a fire blanket courtesy of Pinnacle security.
In the ladies category Sheila Kesiime topped Group A with 75 Nett while Rhoda Tumusiime topped B with 76 Nett. Both ladies walked away with fire blankets courtesy of Pinnacle security. Fred Kasumba won the seniors category (55 years and above) with 75 Nett.
The Golfers whiled the night away with great performances from singer Sheeba Karungi and didn’t spare the singleton whiskey that the event sponsors provided at no cost.
