The Uganda People Defence Airforces (UPDAF) will take on Fresh Handling in a mouth Watering finals on a date that will be announced by the league Manager Tom Byarugaba. UPDAF beat Protea Hotel 3-2 in penalty shoot outs after 1-all draw in a semifinal clash that was played at the Entebbe Airport football Grounds on Tuesday. UPDAF’s Vincent Tumusiime put his side after he comfortably chipped the ball into the back of the net. Daniel Sembusi grabbed a late equalizer for Protea Hotel. In the other semifinal clash that was played on Monday Fresh Handling beat Lake Victoria Hotel (Laico) 3-2 in penalty shootouts after a goalless draw.
The two semifinal matches have been very competitive and I congratulate both Airforce and Fresh Handling for reaching the finals. We (Management) will set a date for the losers match between Lake Victoria Hotel and Protea Hotel and thereafter the finals, League Manager Tom Byarugaba revealed.
