President Museveni has finally bailed out all market vendors in Entebbe with a twenty million Uganda Shillings (shs 20m) cash boost to be injected into their different kinds of business. For the last couple of months the poor market vendors have been lobbying for the cash from the big man with no answer and finally on Thursday they washed their crocodile tears after the big man fulfilled his pledge and sent his blue-eyed boy Lt. Gen. (Rtd) Henry Tumukunde with the brown envelope. The Retired soldier delivered the Shs 20m on behalf of the big man who is currently moving places hunting for votes to keep him in office after the 2016 hot boiling polls. Tumukunde urged all the market vendors under their umbrella organization the Entebbe Markets Umbrella Organization to be transparent and utilize the cash to improve their household incomes in addition to avoiding hen pecking themselves. He hailed all the women for sticking with the big man through thick and thin even during the bush war. The meeting was held at the Children’s park and was attended by NRM Party MP Flag bearer Rose Tumusiime who lobbied for the cash, Museveni advisor on markets, Chairman Entebbe Markets Umbrella Organisation Kasamba Abdul Majid, NSSF Board member and Entebbe senior citizen Chris Kahirita.
