Uganda Traffic Police are hunting for about 10 drivers for allegedly speeding and refusing to stop when stopped by Traffic officers along Entebbe Expressway.

Michael Kananura, the Traffic Police Spokesperson says that these drivers were captured by CCTV cameras on the Expressway including a Range Rover registration number UBN 742G that was driving from Kajjansi to Busega on 31st of August 2023.

This comes after the police launched the Fika Salama Extra operation that was commenced with Entebbe Expressway following the increase in road accidents.

Kananura says that drivers who refused to stop should report themselves at the Traffic Police Headquarters in Nateete, Rubaga division to pay the fine of 200,000shs or risk being arrested and prosecuted in courts of law for over speeding and disobeying traffic officers.
