Winnie Nwagi has addressed the issues that transpired between her and Chozen Blood, leading to a temporary end to their friendship.
On many occasions, Chozen Blood has come out to address the issue and once publicly begged Winnie Nwagi to forgive him. The Swangz Avenue star, in an interview, confirmed that they had ended their once-close friendship because of Chozen Blood’s ex-girlfriend.
Winnie claimed that the unidentified lover, out of jealousy, snooped in Chozen Blood’s phone to confirm if they were not dating as rumoured. She landed on the audio clips of Winnie questioning Chozen Blood on why he was not answering her texts, and leaked them to paint a picture that she was desperate and pleading for love.
This forced Nwagi to distance herself from Chozen Blood until he decided to end his relationship, which he said was toxic. Since then, he had appeared on different interviews trying to plead for Nwagi’s forgiveness and attention.
Nwagi confirmed that she had forgiven him, and they rekindled their friendship. After their performance at the Roast and Rhymes, the self-styled Fire Baby made it clear that she did not have any problem with Chozen Blood, and what happened was just a misunderstanding in his love life.
“Maybe the girl was so much in love and thought she would gain by exposing me. It was so unnecessary because I was not part of their relationship. It was a wrong move. I forgave him because maybe he didn’t know that he was dating a mentally unstable woman,” she said.
Nwagi might have pardoned his bestie, but he still blames him for giving his ex-girl access to his privacy, which allowed her to leak their private conversations. She denied the allegations that they were having a secret affair, making it clear that they were just business partners.

“Why would you let a woman get on your phone like that? Especially when it comes to the people you work with. This is sabotaging work. He is my business partner, with whom we work, and a fellow musician. She instead mixed this with pleasure,” she said.
Winnie Nwagi also revealed that she moved on from the drama because it was addressed. For the sake of the business deals they might share shortly, she chose not to hold a grudge and let it go.
