Fans planning to attend Vinka Live & Loud on Friday, August 21, 2026, at Lugogo Cricket Oval have been urged to arrive earlier than usual, as organizers have revealed the event is designed to be more than just a music concert.
Unlike most concerts where attendees arrive shortly before the headline performance, Vinka Live & Loud will open its gates at 3:00 PM, with the main concert beginning promptly at 7:00 PM.
According to Swangz Avenue, the early opening is designed to give fans a complete lifestyle and entertainment experience before Vinka takes the stage for her highly anticipated first-ever solo concert.
From the moment gates open, concertgoers will enjoy immersive brand activations, interactive games, giveaways, product sampling, and engaging experiences from some of Uganda’s leading brands.
Food lovers will also have plenty to enjoy, with a wide selection of food vendors serving both local delicacies and contemporary cuisine, while DJs will keep the atmosphere lively throughout the afternoon.
Dedicated hospitality and lifestyle zones will provide spaces for friends and families to relax, socialize, and enjoy refreshments before the night’s performances begin.
Surprise Performances Planned
Organizers have also teased surprise guest performances before Vinka’s headline set, promising exciting collaborations and memorable appearances that will reward fans who arrive early.
Speaking about the event, Swangz Avenue Events Manager Mugerwa Robert said the objective is to create value for attendees from the moment they enter the venue.
“This will not be your typical concert; it will be an all-day celebration of music, culture and lifestyle. We’ve intentionally planned to open the gates at 3:00 PM because we want fans to experience everything we’ve curated from immersive brand activations and great food to refreshing drinks, live entertainment and exciting surprises,” he said.
A Career-Defining Concert for Vinka
The concert marks a major milestone in Vinka’s music career as she headlines her first solo concert after years of releasing hit songs including Love Panic, Bailando, Thank God, Omukwano Gwo, All Over You, Chips Na Ketchup, Batuleke, and Sirubala.
