Swangz Avenue singer Vinka has addressed Julius Kyazze, describing her as the greatest investment of his career.
Kyazze appeared in a recent interview answering questions about Swangz Avenue, where he was asked what his biggest investment was, mentioning Vinka, who kickstarted her professional music career in 2017.
Vinka, while speaking to NRG Radio, reacted to the statement, noting that Kyazze was recognizing how far she had come and how hard she had worked to build her brand to the level it is at now.
Because of this, she emphasized that no other label mates would take it personally or out of context.
“I think for someone that has known Vinka from the beginning, when someone says that, they have to understand. I know artists like Winnie Nwagi wouldn’t take it personally because they know my journey from an artist manager. For the business that you took a bet on and people eventually going for it; the brand is now big and Vinka is a huge household name then it makes sense,” she mentioned.

Vinka revealed that when she first saw the video clip from Kyazze’s interview, she didn’t know how to feel. Whereas many would see it as a point of celebration, especially from the artist’s point of view, she acknowledged that it was scary because it meant that he had a lot of expectations from her.
“For me that is a bit scary. I felt as if someone had put a huge load on me; plus the pressure. Usually when I’m on stage, I’m very nervous when there is Benon and Julius. I’m scared of making any mistakes,” she revealed.
