Rwanda Defence Forces (RDF) shot and killed two Ugandan Nationals on allegations that they have been smuggling prohibited items into Rwanda.
Based on Police stories from Kigezi, the incident occurred at 8:00pm at Tabagwe village in Nyagatare district in Rwanda.
Police recognized the deceased as Ayub Byarushaga, 37, a resident of Nyakabungo cell, Kashekye Parish Kamwezi Sub County in Rukiga District and John Bosco Tuhirwe aged 30.
The Kigezi Police Spokesperson Elly Matte stated the bodies of the deceased have been taken to Nyagatare District hospital in Rwanda by the security agency.
