Uganda Airlines has officially resumed full long-haul operations after a brief disruption that affected some of its international routes, including flights to London, Dubai, and Mumbai.

The national carrier confirmed that technical challenges experienced on one of its Airbus A330neo aircraft had been fully resolved, allowing the airline to restore its regular flight schedule.

In a statement, Uganda Airlines management thanked passengers for their patience and assured them of improved reliability going forward.

“We are pleased to announce the resumption of all long-haul operations. Safety and efficiency remain our top priorities,” the statement read.

The airline explained that maintenance teams, working in partnership with manufacturers and aviation experts, conducted thorough inspections to ensure optimal aircraft performance before reinstating service.

Aviation analysts praised the swift response, noting that the airline’s transparency and professionalism helped maintain public trust.

Uganda Airlines’ long-haul services are a critical part of its growth strategy, connecting Entebbe International Airport to major global hubs and boosting tourism, trade, and investment.

The resumption marks a significant milestone in the airline’s recovery efforts as it continues to expand its international footprint and strengthen Uganda’s position as a regional aviation hub.
