Singer and songwriter Kalifah Aganaga has expressed his disappointment with fellow artist A Pass over his recent comments regarding his ‘Nassanga Remix’.

Nassanga Remix featuring Weasel Manizo, Lil Pazo Lunabe, and Winnie Nwagi has sparked a huge debate on social media since its release. During his TikTok live stream, A Pass was among the critics who dissected the song verse by verse.

This didn’t sit well with Kalifah, and during a phone interview with Galaxy FM, he revealed he expressed his disappointment in A Pass for trying to discredit his work, noting that he expected an artist in his position to do better.

According to Kalifah, since A Pass considered himself an international artist, he would spend most of his time promoting his own work instead of focusing on his fellow artists’ music. He revealed that while Nassanga Remix was topping charts and conversations, A Pass’s own songs were stuck in the studio and not going viral.

Kalifah also referenced promoter Abitex, who recently praised the collaboration, describing it as one of the best collaborations since Mowzey Radio’s Mr. Deejay. He questioned why A Pass would dismiss a song that has received such positive feedback from music lovers.

The singer further accused the “Dadada” hit maker of being jealous, claiming that his comments came from a place of envy.

“Number one promoter Abitex came out and revealed he had never seen such a beautiful collaboration since Radio’s Mr. Deejay. So who is A Pass? You have nothing going on. You are just in your studio doing comedy but talking trash about people’s music. I call that jealousy. When he got his short lived hit song, Buwooma, we never put him down. How do you trash talk your competitor, leave them alone to do their thing?” he questioned.

Kalifah branded himself as a better musician than A Pass, advising him to accept that reality instead of criticizing his competitors.

Looking ahead, Kalifah said he would gladly accept a musical battle against A Pass if a promoter organized one. In a show of confidence, he even claimed he would be willing to let A Pass take the performance fee, saying his main objective would be to prove to fans that A Pass’s music no longer has the impact it once did.
