Veteran musician Stecia Mayanja has expressed joy and happiness following her daughter’s engagement with her man.
Stecia shared the great news on her social media platforms, and in the voiceover, she couldn’t hide her excitement about her daughter’s milestone.
The proposal happened in the gardens, and we saw her dressed casually because it came as a surprise. The ‘Equalizer’ hitmaker revealed that her daughter’s fiancée single-handedly made all the arrangements for the proposal without alerting anyone.
She celebrated her daughter and the joy of motherhood, especially that she got to have her at a young age. Stecia described her future son-in-law as a well-groomed, good-looking, and humble young man who would be well-suited to ask for her daughter’s hand in marriage.
“The joy of every parent is to have their daughter get married to a good man who understands their child. I thank God that he answered my prayers. I thank his parents for raising a well-behaved man who knows the value of marriage,” she said.
Stecia, who had been in Canada for close to three years, was delighted to fly back in time to witness her daughter getting engaged.

“I’m imagining how I would have felt if I were still abroad. I can’t imagine missing out on all this. I thank God for giving me life and bringing me back to watch this joy,” Stecia Mayanja revealed.
