Stanbic Bank Masindi branch manager, Hilda Rwabugaya, died after collapsing in the bathroom at her residence in Masindi town.
She was discovered in the bathroom by tenants who rushed her to Supreme Medical Centre in Masindi town. Medical personnel later referred her to Kitara Medical Centre, but she passed away upon arrival. Neighbors described her as a cooperative and kind person who maintained good relationships with those around her.
Rwabugaya died on January 8, 2024, at around 9:00 am at Masindi Kitara Medical Centre, where her body remained at the time of reporting.
Her passing has been described as a significant loss, especially for the residents of Bujenje, who often sought her assistance.
