S&S Female staff have been urged to remain content and satisfied with their jobs rather than running away to the different countries in the Middle East where they end up in modern day slavery.
Addressing the S&S Female Staff on International Women’s Day on Friday, Guest Speaker Anna Maria Ntate, a seasoned TV Personality, events MC and a businesswoman said that youthful girls get excited when they secure passports to go to the different Middle East and Arab countries such as Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia, Oman and others and on reaching there, they don’t get the jobs they were promised and end up in sexual slavery and other forms of hard labour.
“Many girls have gone through a lot and are in tears. Most of the money they make in the Middle East ends up being used as medical bills because many of them return with different ailments and diseases. My appeal to you S&S Female staff, you can still earn without going to the Middle East. Appreciate the S&S directors because they love and respect you, these days many employers don’t care about their employees, all they think about are profits. In return, love and respect your jobs and avoid bad habits that can easily destroy you such rumor mongering and bad mouthing one another”, Ntate stressed.
Ntate also warned the S&S female staff to avoid visiting witch doctors to solve their problems and challenges.
“I visited so many witch doctors when I was going through so many challenges and I didn’t get any positive result. The witch doctors ate my money and kept confusing me. But I’ve now given my life to Jesus Christ and now things are working out and God is continuously blessing me”, added Ntate.
Meanwhile, the S&S Director, Mrs Olive Muhanguzi who annually organizes the seminars on International Women’s Day urged her female employees to always put God first, love one another and be hard working.
“Learn to put God first and always love one another. Have goals in life and learn to utilize your talents. Learn to persevere because hard working people know how to persevere in life”, said Olive Muhanguzi.
