Singer Spice Diana has publicly forgiven the promoter who failed to pay her for her performance over the weekend.
Spice Diana was the main act for a show in Bukomansimbi, but things went south when the promoter failed to honor the work agreement. Out of anger, Spice Diana exposed the promoter to her fans, and to make up for her fee, she carried some of the equipment, including computers and sound machines.
The singer revealed she would never have come out to the media to clarify, but she received several phone calls from various media houses. Sitting before journalists, the singer noted that such an incident had happened four years ago, when she needed to use force to get her payment from promoters.
The promoter noted that there was a miscommunication between him and the venue owners. He publicly apologized to Spice Diana for failing to honor his end of the agreement, revealing that he was under so much pressure and lost control of the event.
Spice Diana noted that she had forgiven him on condition that he paid her full fee because she had performed for the fans.

“It is easy for me to forgive you because we are in the same job and we will meet each other because we both need each other. Let us not ruin people’s brands. Let this act as an example for other promoters who would wish to use such an opportunity because the fan will, at the end of the day, get angry at the artist, not the promoter,” Spice said.
She noted that the machines were currently in the store at the time of the interview and would only be released to them after they had cleared her.
