Jamaican dancehall singer, real name Grace Latoya Hamilton, has explained why she holds Ugandan Cindy Sanyu with high regard.
This week, Spice touched down in Uganda through Entebbe International Airport, ahead of her much-anticipated performance in Kampala this weekend.
Upon her arrival, the dancehall sensation visited several heritage sites in Uganda, including the Martyrs’ shrine in Namugongo, Kabaka Palace in Mengo, among others.
Embracing the Buganda name Nakimuli, Spice shared her experience, describing Uganda as a country full of vibes with good food, environment, and welcoming, more like Jamaicans.
She ticked off a few items on her bucket list, including having a boda boda ride, and cheekily hinted at having a Ugandan God-fearing man to have a baby together.
Regarding the Uganda music industry, Spice questioned how she could link up with the country’s female singers, specifically Spice Diana, Cindy Sanyu, and Sheebah Karungi.

After observing that Cindy Sanyu commands a bold, high-energy presence that mirrors her own, along with a fearless approach to challenging male artists, Spice expressed interest in meeting and a possible collaboration.
