Party animal, socialite and media personality, Sheilah Carol Gashumba, has unveiled the person who leaked her bedroom photos and videos with boyfriend Rickman Manrick to an extent of staining her relationship with her father, Frank Gashumba, the two do not speak.
The explicit videos showing Sheilah and her boyfriend, Rickman, surfaced online, delivering a severe blow to her already delicate relationship with her father.
The once-tight bond between father and daughter had been fragile since Sheilah entered adulthood, and this recent incident seems to have hammered the final nail into the coffin.
According to Sheilah, communication between her and her father came to a halt in July last year, exacerbated by the scandalous videos. Sources reveal that Frank Gashumba called his daughter in a fit of anger, vehemently expressing his displeasure and demanding an explanation for her actions.
In her defense, the former NBS TV presenter clarified that she had little control over the situation. She explained that her SIM card was swapped, leading to unauthorized access to her Snapchat account, from which the compromising videos were leaked. Defending her stance, she emphasized that the videos were recorded on her personal phone with her boyfriend, and she saw no wrongdoing in it.
“I haven’t talked to my father since July. When my videos came out, he called me fuming. I didn’t know what I had done wrong because my phone was hacked, and that’s how the videos came out. It was only my mother who consoled me,” Sheilah shared.
