Sheikh Umar Kamoga has revealed that his wives and children were taken away during his time in prison.
Umar had been in jail for two years, three months, and 22 days following his arrest on charges of aggravated trafficking of children. He was found guilty of exploiting his 13-year-old niece’s vulnerability and was sentenced to the time served.
Upon his release yesterday, Umar revealed that he got home and found that his accuser was having an affair with his wife and the mother of his child. He also accused him of stealing land titles and other important documents from his bedroom while he was away incarcerated.
“They took all my wives and also chased away all my workers. My wife and mother to my son, Umar Kamoga Jnr. used to stay in a very big flat but he dragged her out, brought her into my premises and they started their affair in my house. They went straight to my bedroom and he manipulated my wife. She thought he loved her but instead wanted my property,” he said.
Sheikh Umar Kamoga further revealed that he had made peace with the fact that his wife left him but begged her to bring back their son. He confirmed that he had earlier carried out the DNA test before he went to prison to ascertain that the child was indeed his.
“To that man, it is okay for you to take the woman but bring back my son. I do not know where they took my child. I have all my test results plus for all my other children,” he said.

Sheikh Umar further made it clear that he was now seeking to marry another woman and start his own clan after denouncing his family.
