The Commander Special Forces Command Brig. Gen. Felix Busizoori has called on the force to be transparent, emphasize training and use revolutionary methods of work in the defence of the country and her interests.
Brig. Gen. Busizoori made call yesterday while presiding over the handover ceremony and take over of the office of Deputy Commander of SFC by Brig. Gen. Charity Bainababo from Brig Gen. David Mugisha. Brig. Gen. David Mugisha now heads to 21/C 3 division.
“I want to thank our Commander in Chief the President for the promotion and appointment of the officers. I urge you all to be transparent, use revolutionary methods of work and build team work,” he said.
Commander Busiizori called on the officers to put emphasis on training and mantainance of equipment among other things and above all always be ready to defend the country.
President Yoweri Museveni recently promoted Colonel Charity Bainababo to Brigadier Genral and appointed her Deputy Commander SFC. She also continues to supervise 1SFG. Colonel David Mugisha was also promoted to Brigadier General and appointed 21/C 3 division. Lieutenant Colonel Nathan Nabimanya was promoted to Colonel and appointed Commander 2SFG.
